Advanced Solutions for India's Medical & Healthcare Industry
The Sabreen Group provides mission-critical process manufacturing solutions that enhance product reliability, ensure patient safety and meet stringent regulatory requirements, for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers in India.
Uncompromising Quality & Compliance
Our commitment to quality is at the core of everything we do. We develop and implement processes that adhere to the strictest industry standards, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. From material selection to final inspection, we ensure every component meets the required specifications for biocompatibility, durability, and performance.
Our Medical Application Expertise
Surgical Instruments
We provide indelible laser marking for FDA UDI compliance on stainless steel, titanium, and coated instruments. Our marks withstand hundreds of autoclave sterilisation cycles without fading or degrading.
Medical Implants
Our processes create high-contrast, non-disruptive marks on biocompatible materials like PEEK, polymers, and titanium used in orthopedic, spinal, and cardiovascular implants, ensuring full traceability without compromising patient safety.
Devices & Equipment
From plastic housings on diagnostic equipment to disposable catheters and tubing, we enable durable branding, logos, and functional markings that resist harsh cleaning chemicals and daily wear.
From Concept to Production
We partner with your team to understand your unique challenges and objectives. Our game-changing approach involves a deep-dive analysis, process development, and rigorous testing to create a turnkey solution that integrates seamlessly into your production line, delivering lower costs and a critical market advantage. That process development is run by our plastics engineering services group. For device and packaging resins that need special handling, see laser marking of PVC: applications, parameters and safety.

Have a Medical Manufacturing Challenge?
Let our experts help you develop a robust, cost-effective, and compliant manufacturing process.
Meeting the Demands of Medical Manufacturing
In the medical field, there is no room for error. Components require permanent, biocompatible, and sterile identification for traceability and patient safety. Our engineering expertise addresses these challenges head-on, delivering robust solutions for UDI compliance, anti-counterfeiting, and long-term performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is laser marking preferred for medical devices?
Because identification is marked directly onto the part rather than applied as a label or ink print, so there is no label to lift, no ink to be removed by cleaning or sterilisation, and no added material in contact with the patient or the drug. That supports device traceability and UDI requirements for the life of the device.

Are FDA-compliant laser additives available for medical parts?
Yes. Documented applications include medical tubing for invasive surgical procedures where on-the-fly laser marking replaced ink printing, polyolefin medical syringes using an FDA-approved laser additive in place of pad printing, and a jet black additive that is FDA compliant and free of heavy-metal antimony-tin oxide.
Does marking survive sterilisation?
A properly developed laser mark does, which is a large part of why it is used — but it has to be qualified against the specific sterilisation method, since autoclave, gamma, EtO and e-beam affect polymers differently. Marks that pass before sterilisation and fade after it are normally an additive and parameter problem rather than a laser problem.

How is bonding qualified for medical assemblies?
Against service and sterilisation conditions rather than initial strength, with a defined surface preparation and a controlled treat-to-bond window. Where the joint has to be hermetic, custom bonding and curing technologies for hermetic sealing of polyolefins are documented work.
